Jute ribbon is most commonly used for:
- wrapping gifts
- wrapping and decorating flowers and bouquets
- making handmade items
- decorating interiors for special occasions, furniture, walls and ceilings.
Jute tape is 100% decomposable in the soil and does not harm the environment, as it is made from natural jute fibre.
*Traditionally raw (uncoloured, unbleached) jute tape contains a small amount of oil - this is due to a technological feature of production. Therefore, like other jute fibre products (e.g. jute fibre or jute rope), jute tape may have a specific (technical) oil smell. Depending on the specific batch of product/manufacturer, this smell may be more or less pronounced.
According to customer feedback, the level of smell can be experienced differently, depending on the individual sensitivity of the person.
The smell usually disappears over time.
